Dear Nattawat.org member, i would like to promote the software my friend and I have been working on. It is called "Subtitle Mate".
Subtitle Mate is an OPEN SOURCE subtitle making software which provide user with features which make subtitle making process become an easy task for anyone to do. The unique key feature in this software is the "Auto Timing" where the program will calculate the time in which there is human sound speaking automatically. This feature will help those who make subtitle save their time in the timing process.
Subtitle Mate also has an user-friendly user interface which can be used by amateur. It also provides dictionary and spell checker.
Currently, a new feature is being developed. This new feature is "Translation Memory" which will help translate the subtitle from one language to another.
Subtitle Mate has gained its success by winning the first prize of National Software Contest 2010 (Thailand). Also, we had the chance to present this program at The Third Thailand Speech Community Form. Currently, Subtitle Mate is in the final round of Thailand ICT Awards which will be held on August 3, 2010.

Thailand ICT Award was announced earlier today, and Subtitle Mate won the first prize! |

Well, congratulations to the creators, I'm not sure how much I can expect from the auto-translator but the auto-timing feature sounds exciting to me. I used to sync subs for rare releases myself and found it very hard to listen for the slam of a door or something similar, jot down the milisecond and the insert it into subsync, stretch and repeat the procedure. |
